Since
1989, Art has been
involved with the development of
state-of-the art nutrition programs for sports,
medical
and weight-management applications. He assisted in the development of several programs for
SporTelesis, Inc., including Nutritionalysis (proprietary to Golds Gyms),
California
Fitness, LA Lifestyle and Ortho Nutrition. He also assisted in the design of the corporate
wellness program for Beckman Medical Instruments, Brea, CA.
Today, he spearheads the development of
interactive, educational fitness components for trainers, coaches,
athletes, health clubs, medical facilities and corporations interested in
weight-management, nutrition, fitness and sport-specific training.
As a leading industry consultant, he
has been published in trade magazines (CBI March 1994; May 1997; Club Industry June
1995; Personal Fitness Professional July 2002;) he is often quoted as an expert in
the marketing of weight-management, fitness and sport-specific programming.
In July 2004, he introduced the
"forward-looking" lecture:
Next
Generation Trainers at the IDEA World Fitness Convention in San
Diego - to rave reviews from professionals throughout the industry.
The updated topic also was presented in March 2006 at the
MultiTrax Business Forum in London. This lecture also is
available as an
online
seminar.
Before starting MediCorp PNT and PrivateLabelFitness, Art served as a marketing
consultant to several international corporations, including Apple,
Atlantic Entertainment, Chiat-Day, DDB Needham Worldwide, Deloitte &
Touche, Ericsson Telecommunications, Guitar Center, Kwikset, McDonnell Douglas, MCA
Entertainment, Pepsico, Price Pfister, Sony, StarTrac, Unisys Corporation,
and Yamaha Corporation.
