Logsdon's protocols were bundled and marketed under the name, SporTelesis. It proved to be an "underground" success. Throughout the late 70's and 80's, it was employed by trainers and coaches of several world-class amateur and professional athletes - from track & field to auto-racing. Enter Gold's Gym During the middle 1980's, he licensed the "SporTelesis Program" to Gold's Gym under a new brand name, "Nutritionalysis™." Gold's Gym found this same program to be effective for several applications from body-building to weight-management programming. It also boosted retail supplement sales within their pro-shops. Spin-Off: Apex Fitness Group In the early 90's, employees of Nutritionalysis spun-off and created APEX™ Fitness Group. APEX attempted to use the same basic protocols. However, because this was not an amicable split, APEX never gained access to the computer software source code to accurately determine a person's nutritional/oxidative type -- nor did they have Logsdon's sophisticated, all-natural supplement formulations. Nonetheless, they attempted to duplicate the program by creating a similar version of products through contract manufacturer, Phoenix Labs (Great Earth, Bodyonics-Pinnacle, Cytodyne, etc.) and implemented a business model based on supplement-driven sales concepts. Today APEX is owned by Fitness Holdings (24 Hour Fitness) and, not surprisingly, found in numerous 24 Hour Fitness Clubs under the name: 24/5 Program and APEX.
In 1995, under Logsdon's guidance and approval, Art Rothafel launched MediCorp PNT™ as an independent company focused on the small club and personal trainer markets. The MediCorp system adheres to the same physiological protocols. And, MediCorp PNT is a distributor of the original SporTelesis/OFNP supplement formulations. In 2002, MediCorp began to offer it's exclusive products in a private-label format, thus, allowing clubs, trainers and other health professionals the opportunity to build their own exclusive, high-quality brands.
In January 2006, MediCorp split into two divisions:
The PrivateLabelFitness Difference - Quality, Choice, Costs The biggest points of differentiation between PrivateLabelFitness Components and all other programs and turnkeys are quality, cost and requirements. PrivateLabelFitness sells "components." This way, personal trainers, small clubs and other fitness professionals can order exactly what they need -- in any quantity -- without the burden of miscellaneous "forced-purchase" products, services or administrative fees. PrivateLabelFitness requires no administrative license fees, no mandatory training, no mandatory supplement purchases and no minimum quantity/purchase requirements for it's generic line of products. Finally, PrivateLabelFitness allows clubs, trainers and other organizations the opportunity to private-label all products, including our super-premium supplement line, with their own unique brand and logo. We are the only company to provide this branding / marketing opportunity. Today, more than 50,000 health and fitness professionals use PrivateLabelFitness software, tracking journals, reference manuals, marketing support and a complete line of super-premium nutritional formulations. We are grateful for this continuing confidence in our company and our fitness components. |
